David Leventhal - Founder & PresidentDavid Leventhal received his BA in Communication from James Madison University (Harrisonburg, VA) in and a Certificate of Graduate Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He spent 11 years working in the Dallas financial services industry, primarily in indirect lending where he served as Senior Vice-President of Loan Origination for nationwide finance company. He also worked as Vice-President of Business Solutions for Texas-based commerical bank. Following the adoption of their little girl he was so impacted by the weight of the global orphan crisis and an increasing burden for the powerless that in late-2008 David left corporate America to pursue a vocation in the non-profit world. In 2009 he joined Hope for Orphans where he oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization.
David and Missy have been married for 11 years and have four children – Daniel, Caroline, Abigail & Lillian. In 2007 they experienced the miracle of adoption as they traveled to Guangxi, China to bring home Abigail.
